Renewal Time

OK, OK… you win.  We surrender.  For the past couple of years, you have bombarded the Players with requests for repeats of your favorite plays.  Generally, because there are so many wonderful plays out there yet to do, and because we repeat “Smoke” every year, we’ve said no.  However, the clamor has been all but deafening for a repeat of “The Foreigner”, so we all got together (any excuse for a Players gathering) and decided, yes indeedy, we will bow to your requests.  It has been six years since “Foreigner” was performed and our season ticket base was much smaller then, so why not?  We are always aware that without your support we would not even exist.  We want to keep you happy and if it means a repeat every now and again, we’ll do it.  So, the new season is another one packed with silliness and foot stompin’ fun.  And of course, we only do comedies or musical comedies and always, always, clean family entertainment.

Season tickets are a great investment for making sure you get your laugh quota in for the year.  You get a price break and you are assured the seat of your choosing until you tell us you don’t want to renew.  Of course, on the outside chance that this should happen, Miss Maude will be sent to your house to help you see the error of your ways.  Seriously, you are the backbone of the Players and your renewals and generous donations help us financially more than you could know.  2005 has been kind of rough, financially, on the Players and renewals are our life’s blood.  We are also non-profit, so any donation is tax deductible.  ALSO, this year we are back to four plays, so Season Ticket prices will be upped a schootch to accommodate the fourth show.

Prices are as follows and are also listed on your renewal form.  The full season ticket price for all four shows is adults $55.00, seniors (sixty years and older) $40.00, students and children $40.00.  The prices for the mini season (this package does not include “Smoke on the Mountain”) are adults $42.00, seniors (sixty years and up) $30.00, students and children $30.00.  It’s still the best bargain in town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  If you are under 60 years of age, your season ticket cost is only $13.75 per ticket.  If you are a senior (over 60) or a student or child, your cost is only $10.00 per ticket.

Where can you find a bargain like that for wholesome entertainment?  So, crank up those checkbooks or credit cards and return your forms as soon as possible because Miss Maude is gearing up as we speak.
